Deportation of hundreds of Afghan immigrants from Pakistan

The Ministry of Refugees and Returnees Affairs of the caretaker government has announced that hundreds of Afghan refugees returned to Afghanistan after being deported from Pakistan.

On Thursday, the 22nd of Jedi, this ministry published a newsletter saying that 437 people entered the country on the 20th of Jedi.

Based on the news release of the Ministry of Migration Affairs, the mentioned migrants re-entered the country through Torkham border in Nangarhar province and Spin Boldak border in Kandahar province after being deported by the Pakistani government.

According to the report of Torkham Border Directorate of Nangarhar province, 49 families including 231 people were forcibly returned to the country from the mentioned border.
However, according to the information of the Spin Boldak border command of Kandahar province, 35 families, including 206 people, were forcibly returned to the country.

It is worth mentioning that newly deported immigrants from Pakistan were introduced to the United Nations High Commissioner, World Food Organization and International Organization for Migration after registering with the Immigration Department.
