The United Nations is concerned about the situation in Afghanistan during the holy month of Ramadan

The beginning of the holy month of Ramadan this year is under the shadow of deep concerns of the international community regarding the human condition in some vulnerable areas of the world.

Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, said in a message on the occasion of this month that many Muslims are spending these days in crisis, fear and displacement.

Afghanistan is one of the areas that has raised Guterres' concern. According to UN statistics, at least 23 million people in this country need humanitarian aid, and more than 15 million people do not know where they will get their next meal.

In addition to Afghanistan, the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip is also one of the other concerns of the UN Secretary General. The war in this region has entered its sixth month and Israel's siege of Gaza continues. According to reports, more than 30,000 people have been killed and more than 71,000 injured in these clashes. This shocking statistic shows the dimensions of the human disaster in this region.
