Ministry of Defense of caretaker government: In response to Pakistan's attacks, we targeted points along the Durand Line

The Ministry of Defense of the caretaker government says that in response to Pakistan's air attack on parts of Afghanistan, it has targeted military centers along the Durand Line with heavy weapons.

The ministry said in a news release: "In response to this aggression, border forces of the Islamic Emirate targeted Pakistan's military centers along the fictitious line with heavy weapons."

The caretaker government's Ministry of Defense added that "the country's defense and security forces are ready to respond to any aggressive action and will defend their territorial integrity in any situation."

According to this ministry, this morning Pakistani fighters in "an act of aggression... once again entered the territory of Afghanistan and bombed the houses of civilians in Barmal district of Paktika and Sepirah district of Khost province."

It should be mentioned that earlier the caretaker government's spokesperson also reacted to Pakistan's airstrikes in a statement and warned about its consequences.
