Meeting of senior officials of Iran and Pakistan; Terrorist groups in Afghanistan are a danger to the region

At the end of Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi's visit to Pakistan, a joint declaration was issued in which he warned about the threats caused by the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan.

This declaration of 28 articles published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan states that "the presence of terrorist organizations in Afghanistan poses a serious threat to the security of the region and the world". In this regard, the two countries have emphasized their desire to strengthen cooperation in the field of fighting terrorism, providing security and creating a united front against terrorism.

Pakistan still claims that TTP fighters have a safe haven in Afghanistan from where they plan and execute their attacks against Pakistan.

In the meantime, the Taliban in Afghanistan have always denied these accusations and said that the Pakistani government should not blame Afghanistan for its failure to provide security.
