In two days, nearly two thousand Afghan refugees were returned from Iran and Pakistan

The Ministry of Immigrants and Returnees announced that nearly two thousand Afghan immigrants from Iran and Pakistan were voluntarily and forcibly returned to Afghanistan in two days.

The Ministry of Immigrants and Returnees said today (Saturday, 9th of Thor) that 1,22 people living in Iran returned to the country on 7th of Thor through the Islamic border of Herat Castle.

The ministry added that among the mentioned people, which included families and singles, 55 people who needed to be identified and wanted to receive help were introduced to the office of the International Organization for Migration and received food and non-food items.

The source said, seven tons of orphaned children were introduced to WARCHILD Institute to identify their families, for 88 families an amount of 10,000 Afghanis, and for 120 tons, a SIM card was distributed free of charge by the responsible committees at the border.
According to the information, 186 people have benefited from health services.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Migration said in a separate newsletter that 825 Afghan migrants returned to the country on the 8th of Thor from the supposed line of Torkham and Spin Boldak.

The Ministry of Migration added that the families including 527 people and 23 people who were released from prisons in Pakistan returned from the mentioned border and after registering at the Border Authority, they helped the offices of the International Organization for Migration, the World Food Organization and the High Commissioner. The United Nations has been introduced in refugee affairs and 10,000 Afghanis has been paid for each family by the Islamic Emirate.

Meanwhile, according to the information of Torkham Border Directorate of Nangarhar province, 47 families, including 268 people and 7 people who crossed the border, were forcibly returned from Pakistan and after registering in the Migration Affairs Department to help the offices of the United Nations High Commissioner and the International Organization for Migration. International migration were introduced.
