Reactions to the promotion of the Afghanistan national futsal team to the Futsal World Cup

Afghanistan qualified for the Futsal World Cup for the first time in history. The country's national futsal team achieved a historic success by defeating Kyrgyzstan in the final match of the playoffs, which has been widely welcomed by the people of Afghanistan and political figures.

In this crucial game, Afghanistan scored one goal in the first half, but scored four more goals in the second half and decided the result 5-3.

Previously, Afghanistan's national futsal team had defeated Iraq in the playoffs and also reached the quarter-finals of the Asian Championship.
