Iran officially took action to build a wall along its border with Afghanistan

Iranian media have reported the deployment of teams along the border with Afghanistan, who are responsible for the implementation of the border blocking plan, and the cost of implementing this plan has been reported as "three billion dollars".

Irana News Agency, a media affiliated to the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a report it published yesterday (Monday, 10th of April) quoted Iranian officials and wrote that "four border engineering groups of the army have entered the region to implement the plan to block the eastern borders (of Afghanistan). »

This plan, which was previously discussed by the Iranian authorities, includes a four-meter concrete wall, barbed wire and fence, which covers almost the entire border strip of this country with Afghanistan (302 km).

The Islamic Emirate has not reacted to this Iranian plan so far.
