Rina Amiri's reaction to the attack on Shia worshipers in Herat

Rina Amiri, the special representative of the United States of America for women's affairs in Afghanistan, condemned the armed attack on worshipers during prayer in Herat province.

Today (Thursday, 13 Thor), the US special representative for Afghan women's affairs wrote on his X page that the perpetrators of the attack on Shia worshipers in Herat should be held accountable.

Ms. Amiri added that we strongly condemn the heinous attack on the Shia minority in Herat province.

Reina Amiri's reaction comes as at least 6 worshipers, including a woman and a child, were killed following an armed attack on the Imam Zaman mosque in the Mohammadi town of Herat province on Monday night.

This exact attack happened when gunmen on motorcycles opened fire on Shia worshipers in Guzerah district of Herat, as a result of which several people were killed.

It should be mentioned that the ISIS group took responsibility for this deadly attack.
