Serajuddin Haqqani, head of the Interior Ministry, has met with General Korbonov Bakhodir, the head of Uzbek intelligence and his accompanying delegation in Kabul.
Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Matin Ghane said in a statement that the meeting was discussed about expanding bilateral relations and continuing security cooperation between Kabul and Tashkent and strengthening them to improve the security of the two countries and to prevent the cultivation and production of natural and industrial drugs in both countries.
In the meeting, General Corbonov thanked Haqqani for fully providing security for economic projects initiated by Uzbekistan in Afghanistan, Ghane said.
Ghane added that the two sides have also emphasized the strengthening of economic relations between the two countries.
