Hader Bar warned; The possibility of banning the education of girls below the sixth grade in Afghanistan

Heather Bar, the head of the Women's Department of the United Nations Human Rights Office, has warned that the exclusion of women and girls from work and education in Afghanistan by the Taliban continues.

Ms. Bar wrote in her Twitter message that the main difference between today's Taliban and the Taliban of the 1990s is that this group has allowed girls to be educated below the sixth grade.

However, Ms. Barr warned that it is possible that the Taliban will ban girls' education below the sixth grade in Afghanistan.

Previously, Rina Amiri, the US special representative for Afghan women and girls, also criticized the interaction of countries with the Taliban and said that although the Taliban has imposed very heavy restrictions on Afghan women, these restrictions have more unfortunate consequences. .

These statements are made while the Taliban recently warned foreign institutions to stop their educational programs in Afghanistan within the next month.
