Heavy rains in Pakistan left 14 dead and injured

Pakistani media announced that heavy rains in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province left at least 14 dead and injured.

On Tuesday, 1st of August, Pakistani media quoted the Crisis Management Organization of Pakistan as saying that 14 people have been killed and injured in various cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the past one day and night due to incidents caused by heavy rains.

Incidents such as the collapse of the roof and wall of residential houses and electrocution caused by long rains have left 4 dead and 10 injured in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Meanwhile, reports have shown that the heavy rain has also destroyed dozens of residential houses.

At the same time, there have been reports of the blocking of inter-city routes due to the mountain falling due to rain, as well as the interruption of commuting routes to the mountainous and tourist areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province due to the attack of Malam Jabba, Neelam, etc. due to heavy rainfall.

It is worth mentioning that the Pakistan Crisis Management Organization has announced a standby for all relief forces in the state in the next 48 hours, citing reports that rain will continue in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
