Immigration Organization; Afghanistan is facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis

The International Organization for Migration announced in a report that Afghanistan is facing a severe humanitarian crisis due to the expulsion of refugees from Pakistan.

In its report, IOM announced the very alarming situation of the people of this country and announced the statistics of deportation of 500,000 Afghan refugees from Pakistan in the last four months.

This organization emphasized that the people of Afghanistan need sustainable and long-term solutions along with humanitarian aid.

IOM informed about the dire situation of the returnees from Pakistan and said that some of these people are facing severe life challenges, illness and poverty.

IOM has emphasized that the current critical situation in Afghanistan is the result of last year's political changes and the expulsion of refugees from Pakistan.

The organization also said that two-thirds of the people of Afghanistan need humanitarian aid, while international and donor organizations have very limited budgets to help Afghans.
