The Islamic Emirate announced the sale of 3,519 carats of Panjshir emeralds

The Department of Mines and Petroleum of the Islamic Emirate in Panjshir Province has announced that in the twelfth round of bidding, the amount of 3 thousand and ۵۱۹ The emerald carats extracted from the deputy of this province have been sold.

Maulvi Qasim Amiri, head of mines and petroleum of Panjshir province, published a statement on Tuesday, the third of Aquarius, saying that these emeralds were sold to one of the country's national merchants for the price of 405,500 dollars.

He emphasized that this auction was held in the presence of Panjshir Mines Monitoring Committee, heads of local administrations and traders in the official hall of this province.

According to the President of Panjshir Mines and Petroleum, this department had previously sold another 7,430 carats of Panjshir emeralds for a total price of 142,000 dollars to the businessmen of the country.

It should be mentioned that Panjshir emeralds have been donated in twelve rounds since the beginning of the mining work.

This is despite the fact that the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate had previously announced that precious stones worth 2 million dollars were exported in the last 8 months.

According to this ministry, about 24 thousand carats of extracted emeralds worth about two million three hundred thousand US dollars have been sold, of which ten percent is from the Islamic Emirate and ninety percent is the share of the miners.

According to the statistics of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of the Islamic Emirate, 750 emerald mines have been registered in Panjshir, of which 500 mines are active.
