More than five hundred Afghan immigrants were deported from Pakistan

Following the deportation of Afghan citizens from Pakistan, the Ministry of Immigration and Returnees has reported that hundreds of people returned to the country after being forcibly deported from Pakistan.

The ministry said in a newsletter on Saturday that 503 Afghan refugees re-entered Afghanistan through different borders of the country.

The Ministry of Immigrant Affairs has added that the mentioned immigrants re-entered the country after being deported on the 28th and 29th of Jadi through the border of Spin Boldak and Torkham in Nangarhar province.
The ministry added that the mentioned immigrants were introduced to the United Nations High Commissioner, World Food Organization, and International Organization for Migration after registering with the Directorate of Migration.

Recently, Pakistan has imposed strict restrictions on Afghan migrant citizens and truck drivers.

This is despite the fact that it has been about a week since the Torkham crossing was blocked, and the Torkham border crossing between Afghanistan and Pakistan was closed to the traffic of vehicles carrying commercial goods on Friday night and it is still going on.
Pakistan has said that the reason for blocking this border is the lack of visas and passports of the drivers.
