Flood deaths in Afghanistan have risen to 29

A spokesman for the governor of Herat said that 22 people had been killed in floods in Obeh and Adraskan counties in the province, and that seven people had died in Ghor province.

Jilani Farhad announced today, Tuesday, that 12 people in the city of Adraskan and 12 others in the city of Obeh died as a result of the flood, and a large number of houses were destroyed and hundreds of livestock were lost, and the extent of the damage has begun.

According to him, the floods in the cities of Karukh, Pashtun Zarghun and Posht Kuh have also caused damage to the people.

The director of natural disasters in Ovar province also announced that seven people were killed, hundreds of houses were destroyed and hundreds of livestock were destroyed due to floods in the cities of Saghar and Shahrak.

Yesterday, floods caused damage in Bamyan, Maidan Wardak and Samangan provinces.

The floods are hurting the people of Afghanistan as the people of this country are very worried about the consequences of lack of rain in winter and drought this year.
