The Ministry of Transportation and Aviation warned of heavy snowfall and heavy rain in 25 provinces

The Ministry of Transportation and Aviation of the caretaker government has warned of the possibility of heavy snow and heavy rains in 25 provinces of the country.

This ministry added in a newsletter today, Tuesday, 7th of August, that there is a possibility of rain on 8th and 9th of August in the provinces of Kabul, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Herat, Badghis, Farah, Ghor, Faryab, Balkh, Sarpol, Paktia, Khost, Paktika, Logar, Parwan. , Baghlan, Samangan, Helmand, Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzgan, Zabul, Nimroz, Logar including Salang.

The ministry has predicted 10 to 40 mm of rain and 10 to 50 cm of snow.

However, snowfall is still going on in a number of provinces, including Kabul. Earlier, heavy snowfall caused the blocking of transportation routes in a number of provinces, and the citizens faced serious problems.

Some time ago, about 25 people died after a mountain slide due to rain in Nuristan province.
