Issuing severe rain and flood warning in Afghanistan; The Taliban have a serious warning

Following the continuation of heavy snow and rain throughout Afghanistan, the Meteorological Department of this country, which is under the control of the Taliban, has warned of the possibility of heavy rains with flash floods and lightning in 29 provinces in the coming days.

According to the announcement of this department, the eastern and central provinces of Afghanistan, including Badakhshan, Takhar, Baghlan, Panjshir, Nuristan and Kunar, are exposed to heavy rains on Friday and Saturday. The amount of rain in these areas is estimated to be 15 to 60 mm and snowfall is 15 to 20 cm.

Following the recent heavy rains in Afghanistan, at least 70 people have lost their lives and more than 50 others have been injured.

Also, about two thousand acres of agricultural land has been destroyed and more than 600 houses have been damaged.

The Ministry of Natural Events of this country has announced the statistics of casualties and damages caused by these floods.

In this situation, the Afghan authorities are trying to take the necessary measures to deal with this crisis, and the international community has also rushed to help this country.
