Three people were sentenced to prison in Kandahar on charges of political activity

The Supreme Court of the Caretaker Government has announced that three people in Kandahar province were sentenced to prison and penal servitude for "political activity".

This court has announced that these people have been sentenced by the Military Court of Kandahar Zone on Thursday, the 16th of Hamal.

The Supreme Court of the Islamic Emirate added that two of the defendants were each sentenced to 15 years in prison, and the third person was sentenced to 30 lashes and also to prison.

The Supreme Court of the Islamic Emirate has also said that the military court of the caretaker government in Kandahar has sentenced another person to eight years in prison on charges of moral corruption.
