UK Ambassador Arrives at Russian Foreign Ministry for Scheduled Meeting, Embassy Says

Earlier in the day, a Sputnik correspondent reported that Bronnert had arrived at the Russian Foreign Ministry following the Russian ambassador to London having been summoned to the UK Foreign Office in light of Moscow’s alleged “malign behaviour”.
Commenting on the summoning of Russia’s ambassadors to Poland and the United Kingdom, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called the move “a chain reaction by NATO countries in support of US sanctions”.

The developments come after the US imposed sanctions on 32 Russian entities and individuals for their alleged interference in the 2020 US presidential election and the purported hacking of US software supply chain networks.
