Handicraft companies: job applicants are more than buyers of these products

Handicraft companies and stores say that despite the recent boom in women's handicrafts, the number of clients applying for work is more than the buyers of these products.

The chain of work of these stores is tied to the hands of anonymous women and artists who, after receiving raw materials including pieces and thread, deliver a beautiful and exquisite work to their employer after several months of effort.

Each handicraft store distributes work materials for 200 to 300 ladies who make cream. But despite that, according to them, the number of job applicants is more than the customers who come to this store to buy products.

Siddiqa Tofan, the manager of one of these stores, says that nearly 300 women from different provinces of the country work with her indirectly. According to him, his sales market has been booming recently, but most people come to him who need work.

According to Ms. Tofan, the majority of job applicants are young girls who did not have a job and were deprived of education and training.

He continues to say that by requesting a health sciences institute, their students received raw materials from him and paid their education expenses by receiving the amount of money they get from the product preparation.

Latifah Hosseini, the manager of Gol Sib handicraft store in this store, also says that the number of job applicants is more than the number of people who buy from her. According to Latifah, dozens of ladies and girls come to her shop every day to ask for work.

It takes two to six months to prepare a handicraft product for a woman, and the result of this effort of several months is spent on the needs of women who may not have any other income.

Women's handicrafts have flourished in recent years due to unemployment, because many women and girls provide not only their own needs, but also the needs of their families from the income of making these products.
